Green Bay School 12 Classroom

$1,800,000

Auckland Council

This project involved the refurbishment of Green Bay High School’s F Block (10 classrooms) ¬†Approximately 40% of the contract works related to upgrading the weathertightness of the classroom block which involved

  • Removal of existing Butynol roofing and replacement with new roof trusses, metal roofing and associated works
  • Removal of existing metal cladding above 2m and replacement with new metal cladding
  • Removal of existing non-complying fibrolite sheeting and replacement with Eterpan cladding on cavity (partial re-clad only – existing blockwork remained)
  • Replacement of existing windows with new aluminium joinery window system

The balance of work was the interior modernisation/refurbishment of the classrooms and siteworks (concrete paved areas, landscaping and covered walkways).
